Launching UL Environment
We assisted Underwriters Laboratories, the venerable product safety certification specialists, with its launch of UL Environment. To help determine its eventual suite of services including independent green claims validation, product certification, training, advisory services and standards development, we conducted an extensive benchmarking study of hundreds of global eco-labels and self-declarations, from not-for-profit, government, trade associations and for-profit entities, and we exposed service concepts via interviews with senior level marketing and sustainability executives in North America, Europe, Japan, and China culled from our extensive global database of contacts.
Following the launch, we have assisted in lead generation across several consumer products industries, and are helping UL Environment to assess new industries in which to develop sustainability standards.
