Internship Opportunities

We are always seeking dynamic and energetic interns to infuse new ideas and creativity into J. Ottman Consulting and Design:Green. Internships are also a great way to gain valuable green experience and broaden your knowledge about eco-innovation and green marketing.

Interns are typically upper-level undergraduates, graduate students, or recent grads in the liberal arts, design, and business studies. The internship has flexible, part-time hours, but we ask for a minimum commitment of ten hours per week during fall and spring semesters, and two to three days a week in the summer. We recommend a full-time commitment during January-only internships.

Currently, we have a great need for interns who have technical web design skills and can help launch fresh and creative sites for greenmarketing.com and designgreen.org. Specific experience with GoLive and other Adobe products using Mac OS X would be helpful.

Other potential projects include:

+ Helping to research cases for an exciting new book featuring pioneering strategies for greener business, presented in a creative, engaging, multi-media format

+Working on the development of a breakthrough interactive, web-based tool that allows companies to explore new business opportunities related to green product design and marketing

+Other projects geared towards your experience and interests

Students with prior work experience and a demonstrated interest in the environment are given preference. Mac OS X skills are a plus.

To apply for this position, please email internship@greenmarketing.com with "Internship" in the Subject line. Attach your cover letter and a statement of interest, as well as when you are available to start and a summary of your environmental work. Or, mail your resume with cover letter to us at:
