3 DESIGN:GREEN INDUSTRY WORKSHOPS
We offer standalone workshops geared to various market segments. Workshops can be delivered as 2-hour, half or full-day sessions to industry groups and as pre- or post- conference sessions.
Design:Green How to Design and Sell Greener Products That Consumers Want
It is one thing to "green up" one's products to meet retailer demands and another thing entirely to do so in a way that delights consumers. Targeted to the specific needs of consumer packaged goods brand managers, product and package designers, marketers, and R&D professionals, this interactive workshop presents five key strategies for driving profitability and growth through a life cycle approach to eco-design and eco-innovation. To make their new creations fly off the shelves, it arms participants with strategies for marketing with credibility and impact.
Design:Green A Fresh Approach to Better Interior Design
Daylighting, green roofs, water efficient appliances, and locally procured materials are just some of the eco-design strategies presented in this workshop developed for the specific needs of residential and commercial interior designers. Participants come away with an understanding of tools such as Life Cycle Assessment and LEED, and learn how green design can enhance real-estate value, increase occupant comfort and productivity, and promote healthier communities. Qualifies for 2 ASID credits. Financial support is available to local ASID chapters.
New Design:Green Green Building Products From Concept to Market
This workshop arms participants with key strategies for designing and marketing the products that are increasingly being specified for the burgeoning market for green buildings. Participants walk away with an understanding of LEED, Energy Star and other market drivers, as well as strategies for marketing their products to residential and commercial customers. Appropriate for designers, manufacturers and marketers of a wide range of building products, from commercial carpeting and windows, to contract furnishings, countertops and water efficient fixtures.
